Our Environmental Policy 

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Nine Two Five Limited are an independent business furniture manufacturing company based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire and our business policy takes environmental issues very seriously. Our raw materials which are manufactured into finished products are only purchased from companies who also show a commitment to environmental issues. Our products, including all MFC decors  are made using 60 - 70% reclaimed wood. Our supplier Kronospan is both  FSC accredited and complies with ISO 14001 certification. 

FIRST PRINCIPLES

Nine Two Five’s policy is based upon a number of first principles to underpin the company's philosophy.

1. In all areas we will operate our business in full compliance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and will do so with honesty, integrity, and a policy of fair trading.
2. Great emphasis is placed on health and safety within the working environment and the protection of all it’s employees.
3. We have a firm belief in the environment benefit of using key suppliers who show a commitment to environmental issues themselves.
4. The company will not convert timber species prohibited under Appendix 1 of C.I.T.E.S.
5. Solid timber, which is to be converted into lippings, wherever possible will be procured from merchants who only use managed forest with re-forestation programmes. 
6. Lacquer systems used in the finishing process are compliant and any waste lacquers are returned to the manufacturers for disposal in accordance with all statutory environmental requirements.
7. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) are recorded at manufacture.
